Thank you so much for your interest in senior photos! It is truly an honor to have YOU consider me to capture this awesome time in your life!
Being a senior is tough. You have major life decisions to make this year. So let’s make this part easy and most of all, FUN!
There are a lot of photographers out there, I totally get it and I know it can be overwhelming at times. But why should you choose me?! Well that’s why I made this packet! To help you decide if I am the one you want to capture your senior photos!
Seniors are something that I am very passionate about. You are not just another client to me, you are a friend. I want to know your dreams, your future plans, your hobbies etc.
Every senior is unique in there own way and I think that is such a beautiful thing. Because of this I strive to capture each and every one of my seniors unique personality.
If you are looking for a check off a to do list, the same boring poses, and same boring backgrounds that have been over done for years….Then I might not be the right fit for you. But if you are looking for a creative, fun, unique senior experience that actually captures your personality and quirks , then I am your girl!
Seniors are my all time favorite session to shoot. Be prepared for non stop laughing, jamming out to my awesome senior Spotify playlist, random ice cream or donut stops, and 2 hours of creating photos that you feel beautiful and confident in. Most of all you will have these images to keep forever to remind you of the fantastic year you are about to have! It’s YOUR senior year and you’ve waited a long time for this. So let’s start your senior year off with a BANG!
If you plan to get a hair cut or color before your photography session, do it several days in advance so that you know how it will look and have time to make any changes if you are not happy with it. Be sure to bring a comb, brush, and lipgloss for last minute touchups.
Hands and nails should be groomed. Girls should wear subtle colors or use clear polish. I do offer professional hair and makeup but if you decide to do it on your own, try to not over do it. Blemishes are easy to fix in post processing, so you don't have to be concerned if you wake up the morning of your session with a blemish.
Guys- facial hair should be groomed. Editing a messy beard or mustache is difficult, even for experts.
Most importantly BE YOUR SELF!

Kara is a really good friend mine! She is a professional hair and makeup artist and is AMAZING! If you get a package that includes hair and makeup, Kara is who will be doing your makeup and hair. She can come to your house the day of your session and make you look gorgeous just in time for your session!
Can I bring someone to my session?
Yes! Please do! I always encourage my seniors to bring a friend or family member to their session. Having a friend there can help you feel more relaxed and they always know how to make you smile and laugh the best. At the end of every session, I let my seniors take a few shot with who ever they brought with to the session.
When should I book my session?
As soon as possible. It is never too early. I book up pretty fast for the summer and fall months. So don’t wait too long!
What happens if there is bad weather the day of my session?
Let’s face it. We live in the midwest. So the weather is pretty unpredictable. No worries, we can always utilize indoor facilities (greenhouse, coffee house, museum, etc) OR we can reschedule to another day. No additional charge to reschedule.
How long do sessions last?
This depends on how far part your locations are from each other. I plan sessions based on the sunset. Plan to start your session 2-3 hours before sunset.
What forms of payment do you take?
Cash, check or Venmo.
Where do sessions take place?
Over the years I have discovered numerous locations around the area. When picking your location for your shoot, I suggest choosing an urban/industrial location first and then ending in nature like a pasture/field/park. I have so many amazing locations, but I am always up for new ideas or traveling to your home town as well!
So now what?!
If you have decided you want to book the senior experience, send me an email letting me know what month you think you want to do your session, and I will send you my available dates!
I can’t wait to hear from you! 🙂
